In the eyes of the government, fetuses are viewed separately from the mothers carrying them. With this work, they are shown one-in the same to rethink the way we see fetuses. In this painting, I show pregnancy from a mental perspective. Instead of showing the fetus in her belly, the fetus is in her head. Becoming a part of her cognition.
