Since The Supreme Court rolled back Roe v. Wade, women have lost their 14th amendment right. We are now at a point where firearms are not only more protected than women, but they now have more rights than women. In order to have a voice, it seems as though the only thing we can do is physically become a gun. With this work, I combine feminine identity with firearms to highlight the inequalities between them. In this series of paintings, I explore a world where guns have become a part of one’s identity.
